Thursday: SOTW Special - a day late

I am a day late with my blog post but did make my Card A Day for yesterday using the newest Unity Stamp Company Stamp of the Week.

A cute acorn image and Happy Fall sentiment!

Hope you like the card!

Love is the thread that binds us together!

Card A Day. Day 23

Another card that I plan to submit for the OWH blog contest! Patriotic love.

I used Unity Stamps from two different sets for this design. Also using my recycled Kraft paper cards but they run on the small size so not sure if I will continue to use them for the OWH. Maybe just other designs!

Hope you like the card!

So many thanks!

Card A Day. Day 21

Today was a bit of a purple day. I wore a purple dress and made a purple card. ;)

I tried a couple of cards earlier in the day that just didn't seem to work out. Then the mail delivered (see pic below for all the inspirational goodies). Alas it was almost too much to choose from so today's card ended up being simple...and purple.

Hope you like the card!

Thursday: SOTW Special

Hi all!

Starting a special feature on the blog. I get the Stamp of the Week from Unity Stamp Company. Love them!!! So now I am combining them with my Card A Day. On Thursdays I will (hopefully) make my card using the latest Stamp of the Week design.

This week it is the Just Chillin' set. I don't have Copic markers but I did try out my other art markers and am pretty happy with the results.

Let me know what you think! :-)

Card A Day. Day 15. Aged to perfection!

What image would you imagine to go with that sentiment?

I actually chose the image for this card before choosing the sentiment but I was really happy with the combination! The stamp of Converse All-Stars just arrived today from Stampers Best. Love their stamps!

I choose a sentiment from a Unity Stamp Company set.

I hope you like the card!

Card A Day. Day 14. New baby...

...girl. One of my favorite cards in my favorite colors. :)

The stamped image is from a Unity Stamp Company Itty-Bitty.

I love making the cards but always sad when I use the last of something...the last of my pink and white polka dot ribbon. Will be fun searching for more though! Or at least something similar. ;)

I hope you like the card!

Butterfly kisses...

Card A Day. Day 13. Sending you butterfly kisses.

I was at a loss for an idea for today's card. Just putting some paper I had gotten out the other day, and not used, to use. There are always options with my Unity Stamp Company stamps though...fun sentiments and images! This card features an Itty-Bitty set called Butterfly Kisses. I got it as a Stamp of the Week free gift but you can find it on their website here.

Hope you like the card!

Stamp of the Week

Card A Day Catch-up...

...playing catch-up. Only with the blog portion though. I am still keeping up with making a card a day. Well, except one day when I revealed a surprise card I had made a few days before. I have made two cards on two days, so I think that still counts, right? ;)

Anyway...here are the cards. My pics are coming out really awful but I think I have fixed that with my new card for today. That will be in a separate post.

Day 7. Don't worry...Be Happy
Day 8. Thoughts of YOU!
Day 9. Dia de Los Muertos
Additional Hello card which I was not happy with.
Day 10. Happy Anniversary (the reveal card and a separate blog post for that on my regular blog)
Day 11. Proud of you...
Day 12. Go in the direction of your heart...

I hope you like all the cards!

Welcome...

...a new puppy. Preferably a rescue! ;) I have three rescue "pups" in my household. Ginny, 9 years; Mocha, 8-10 years; and Bella, 5 years. Despite their ages, they each still act like puppies! Love my girls!

I didn't get a chance to post this card yesterday because of internet problems...and the photo is worse than normal. A simple card with a fun charm. I finally found a way to get an eyelet on. I am a wee bit upset that my Crop-A-Dile Big Bite hasn't been working for me. I used my Karen Foster Clikit.

Hope you like the card!

Christmas magic...inspired by a tree punch!

I was working on a secret gift project using alphabet punches when I noticed my Christmas tree punch in the drawer. That is what inspired the card for today.

My clean workspace was also inspiration. My project messes were overflowing and so I knew I needed to clear more surface...permanently clear. This meant rearranging some storage and putting things back where they belong. ;) This is the most clear workspace I have had for paper crafting for a long time! I've included a photo. Basically the size of my previous work surface was just where the brown paper covers the table.

I hope you like the card!

Simple happy...

...birthday card.

This was the second card I made today but the other card goes along with a surprise gift so it cannot be revealed just yet.

For this card the banner and sentiment are both from Unity Stamp Company sets.

I hope you like the card!

Coffee, anyone?

Maybe it was because I forgot to drink the cup of coffee I made for myself this afternoon...and because I am tired...that coffee is on my mind. Luckily I used the single serve function on the coffee machine so I no longer waste a whole pot of coffee when I get distracted and forget to drink it. ;)

I will post a pic of my coffee machine. It was relatively inexpensive and seems to be working great so far! Love having options.

Anyway, about the card. The paper is from one of the real photo stacks from DCWV. The cup and sentiment are from a clear stamp set by The Paper Company called Coffee Cafe. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo for the sentiment and to edge the ovals.

I hope you like the card!

Birthday wishes...

...going to my mother-in-law! :)

This card was fun to make! The idea came together quickly and the trickiest part was stamping the flower circle design onto an already cut circle (Sizzix die).

Michael is very excited to send it to his mom. Her birthday is in a few days.

Hope you like the card! Day 2 of #cardaday is a success.

Accidental love...

...because I had a boo-boo with the card. Wanted to use an edge punch but it wouldn't work with two layers of card stock. I ended up with what looked like a bite out of the bottom of the card. The theme of the card was going to be sympathy or "thinking of you" but turned into I Love You.

I overdid the fix but ended up liking the completed card after all.

Today is the day I officially wanted to start a #cardaday photo challenge. This challenge is why I didn't want to leave the card unfinished.

Hope you enjoy the card!
